No success is achieved without people. I firmly believe in that. And one of the things I am personally most grateful for, is having had the opportunity throughout my career to assist so many different people in their professional and personal journeys. Whether they were beginners in their careers, career changers, or seasoned veterans, I have had the privilege of being able to support many as their supervisor, mentor, and friend. It makes me particularly proud to see how many of them are now working in responsible and leadership positions, passing on what they have learned to their teams.
Author of the book 'Einfach mehr Geld'
Together with Frank Donner, in 2019, I visited ten of the best and most successful asset managers in German-speaking regions. We interviewed them about the secrets of their success and their approach to managing their clients' wealth. The results were compiled in our book 'Einfach mehr Geld' (engl. 'Simply More Money'), where I also dedicated a special chapter to real estate investments and my view on how to create a profitable portfolio.
Guest lecturer at University of Applied Sciences 'Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule' in Jena, Germany
Since 2015, I have regularly been giving lectures to the students of Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule in Jena. In my seminars, I delve into the various perception channels of a human and their significance for interaction and communication with the students. We explore how to recognize these perception channels in others and build a solid communication foundation based on this understanding. Furthermore, it is always a big pleasure for me to chat with such a talented group of young people who are just about to start their own careers.
Software (co-)developments: 'PropertyBoard' and 'GeoMap'
Within the scope of my work for various clients, the use of supportive technology has become increasingly important. Often, suitable software was not (yet) available on the market. Therefore, I collaborated with professional programmers to develop them. Two of several resulting applications are 'Property Board' (real estate-related customer relationship management) and 'GeoMap' (an analysis software that maps and evaluates market data on rentals and sales in German-speaking regions in real-time).
Member of the External Credit Advisory Board of Deutsche Bank, Region Germany East (2006 - 2013)
As part of my work as a broker for mortgage financing and loans, I was a member of the External Credit Advisory Board of Deutsche Bank Region Germany East for several years. In this committee, regular discussions were held on the development of interest and financial markets, and a fundamental credit strategy for the bank for the coming months was coordinated. Furthermore, it was a pleasure to stay in close connection to different decision makers of Deutsche Bank and talk about their view on the markets.
Member of the Advisory Board of Lectus Group in Leipzig, Germany
In 2005, I founded my first company: 'Lectus Finanzen GmbH' which I was very successful with for nearly 20 years. After stepping down as managing director and shareholder of this company, as well as a shareholder of Lectus Geldwerke AG, I continue to support both companies today in my capacity as a member of the advisory board of Lectus Group. The advisory board serves as a consultative and idea-generating body, providing new perspectives and insights to the executives. The advisory board is an informal circle and does not have any controlling or supervisory functions over the management.

To prepare for my career transition to the United Kingdom, I successfully completed an IELTS language test at Level B1 in 2023. I have a profound understanding of the English language, both verbally and in written form.
'Qualified Financial Consultant' degree at Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany
After completing a total of 6 years of further education and training in the banking sector, I completed an additional internal programme at Deutsche Bank in 2004/2005, becoming a 'Qualified Financial Consultant' at Ruhr University in Bochum (equivalent to a Bachelor`s degree). This program covered not only financial and tax law topics but also focused on psychological fundamentals for successful communication with clients and colleagues. I still benefit greatly from the knowledge that I gained during that time and would truly say that this was probably the best programme I experienced so far in my career.
Several Studies in Banking at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Frankfurt, Germany
After completing a 2-year vocational training, I pursued various degree programmes at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management for an additional four years. My qualifications ('Bankfachwirt', 'Bankbetriebswirt' and 'Diplom-Bankbetriebswirt') are equivalent to Bachelor and Master degrees in English-speaking regions and all have a financial and banking background.
